Technical Difficulties, please stand by...

My Imac G5 has crapped out on me. Thankfully, I purchased Applecare for it, otherwise you'd be reading about my upcoming funeral from cutting my wrist while jumping off a building.

Which is crabbing my action somewhat as I have huge wodges of material for news and random pictures, saved up from the last couple of weeks.

Of course, all that stuff is saved up over on the G5.

Arr!

Learn from the Elders - always have a backup plan.

Me, I use a 1gb flash drive for the important stuff and a removable external 160gb USB HDD for everything else.

.....3 computers in this house with, synchronized document, email, and bookmarks files. Plus a Netdisk 200 gig hard drive plugged into the router, which gets a daily copy. And it can be plugged into USB in a pinch. And monthly CD backups, in case a lightning strike fries everything.

.....My data's only in trouble if the house burns down... I had a hard-drive crash back when I only had one computer. Never again...
