Shaking off the cobwebs

I've been away for a while. I've been doing other things mostly. But recently i've gotten into a writing groove that hasn't anything to do with what goes on here.

This writing has finally convinced me that maybe i ought to work on some longer form projects and stop being so chickenshit about writing those things. It's also sort of helped me to find my voice a bit.

Still, i don't want to talk about the current project here for fear of jinxing it. When i talk about something i'm doing, i lose the impetus to do it somehow. I hate that.

It has however made me realize that even with great wodging chunks out of it, the World Famous Crank Report is easily large enough to fill a book. And i hope has enough good advice within it, to make for useful reading. I've been encouraged to do it. So maybe i will. I have at least found that i can.
